How to Reach :
By Sea :
Regular scheduled AC / Non-AC Catamarans & Speed boats with a capacity of 80 to 250 seats, from Gateway of India to Mandwa between 6.30 hrs to 20 hrs on hourly basis with courtesy transfer by coach up to KALPATARU .
By Road :
Mumbai 110 Kms off NH 17 Goa road good motorable scenic road. Pune 128 Kms. State Transport busses available from Mumbai Central, Borivali and Thane.

How to Reach Kalpataru :
From Alibag bus stand we are at appx. 3kms and you can hire auto to Varsoli village , near Varsoli Marathi school.  You could contact us for directions, once you enter Alibag city and  if you are in your own vehicle. at about 1.5 kms. from Alibag ST Depot. Take a left turn at Varsoli Phata (at Burumkhan) and come straight to Maruti Mandir (last Rikshaw stop). If get lost, ask road to Varsoli Koliwada.

  • Kankeshwar
    12 kms from Alibag the Shiv temple is situated on a small hill near village is ' Mapgaon. You have to climb 700+ steps to reach the temple and it’s a half day trip.
  • Kulaba Fort
    A water fort built by Shivaji Maharaj in 1680. You can walk there and come back during low tide from Alibag beach. Guides are available at Alibag beach.
